FAQ

Got questions? You’re in good company! 🙌
These are some of the things people ask us all the time — so don’t worry, you’re not the first (and definitely not the last). Let’s clear up those curiosities so you can focus on the fun part: playing mahjong!

What type of Mahjong do you teach?

I teach American Mahjong with the National American Mahjongg League card and rules.

What do I need to know before hosting?

I’ll provide all the materials needed for the lesson. As the host, please have tables set up in advance—each one should comfortably seat four players.

If you’re serving food or drinks, I recommend inviting guests to arrive about 30 minutes before the lesson. This allows time to mingle, enjoy refreshments, and ensures we can begin right on schedule for a smooth, enjoyable experience.

How long does a lesson last?

A lesson will generally run anywhere from  2-2.5 hours depending on  speed of gameplay.

Do I need my own mahjong set?

No! you may want one after your lesson! but I will provide all material needed

How can I book a lesson?

Reach out to us via email or text message with a few dates and times that you prefer and we'll help get you booked with a babe!
